• Length of coverage The average length of a windshield warranty is valid for as long as you own the vehicle. However, stress crack warranties are 30 day. 
• Vehicle conditionSome shops may not offer warranty coverage if the vehicle has rust around the glass frame. Rust can make it difficult to create a proper seal between the glass and the frame. 
• Other damageA warranty won't cover future glass damage, such as if a rock hits your windshield.
